Douglas-Fir

Douglas-Fir heavy sawn timber is commonly used for construction due to it’s strength. Other species such as Spruce (SPF) or Hem-Fir are also available. Post and Timbers or Beams and Stringers graded to Select Structural, Number 1, Number 2, or Standard Utility. Appearance grades also available. You may specify green timbers or Radio Frequency Dried which ensures long term stability particularly for interior applications. Free of Heart Centre (FOHC), boxed heart, vertical grain or other specifications are available.

Western Red Cedar

Western Red Cedar is chosen for its beauty and versatility. Available in appearance grades as well as structural timbers and beams. Perfect for exterior or interior projects accepting a wide range of stains and finishes. Fast turnarounds on kiln dried decking, shake & shingle, and tongue & groove products in knotty (STK) or clear. Resistant to decay, Western Red Cedar is exceptional in many different applications.

Alaskan Yellow Cedar

Alaskan Yellow Cedar is a member of the cypress family so it has exceptional resistance to decay.  Available in a variety of grades. This product is easy to work with and readily accepts stains and finishes or will weather to a uniform grey. Traditionally used in boat building, this beautiful aromatic wood can be used in many applications from trims to timbers.

Pressure Treated

Pressure treated lumber and timbers made from locally sourced number 2 or better Spruce-Pine-Fir. These are an economical choice for exterior and ground contact applications. Available in a variety of dimensions and lengths for fences, decks, pergolas and other outdoor projects.
